Menu Plan Monday

Thomas and I have been on a Daniel Fast for the last 2 weeks. We have 7 more days to go. However; I still have to cook for the fam, so I've still been menu-planning, but just more modified to fit the smaller needs.

Here's the plan, Stan (any Stan's out there reading?). I'm trying something new to help aid some rotation of flavors during the week.

Monday - Meatless/Soups
Tuesday - Mexican
Wednesday - Crockpot
Thursday - Asian
Friday - Italian/Pasta
Saturday - Leftover buffet
Sunday - American/Southern

We LOVE to try new meals (if you haven't noticed) and sometimes get stuck in a rut flavor/palette wise. We love to experiment and often don't rotate meals back through even if we love them. That's a shame, huh?

So - this should help us get through our lists of MUST trys more quickly.

(on a side note: If you've NOT tried Pinterest, just don't! It's addictive. But if you really don't want to listen to my advice, here's the link(s) to my food pins. YUMMMYYYY!)

Healthier food options
Just plain YUMMY!
Some great breakfast ideas
Gluten free recipes or easily altered to fit the bill
Crockpot WONDERS (I LOVE my crockpot!)
Great Freezable meal ideas
Just plain BAD for ya desserts
Cookies - cause I ALWAYS need more recipes to add to my 3 ring binder FULL of just cookie recipes, lol!

As you can see from these links - I've got WAY more pins for food than I do time, so I HAVE to have a plan to get all of these cooked, lol! (and I WOULD stop pinning more, but where's the fun in that?!?!)

ALL of that being said - here's this weeks plan:
