Long time, no see

And boy, has there been a ton of stuff going on.

First of all, we're moving - bought a new house that will finish up sometime either around the end of January or HOPEFULLY in February. We're hoping for the latter as we need to sell our house first. Wouldn't you know that December and January is like the WORST time to put your house on the market? Of course...but, we truly couldn't pass up the deal of the lifetime on this house. It's got all the upgrades that you can get, plus 4 large bedrooms, a huge bonus room, and the master bedroom is downstairs...oh, and not to mention, better schools - woohoo!

I've been steadily working and creating, getting ready for CHA Winter. The design team has a break for the holidays, so the newsletters (from Li'l Davis) will start back in January. We'll be more than ready to share more inspiration for the new year.

In the meantime, we've lost AND found our dog (MIRACULOUSLY found), won a trash art contest, and had a newly added member to our 'adopted' family (Kaitlyn's boo-boo that's always watched her since she was a baby). We've had a broken arm on a Disney World vacation (Brandon vs. Heelies - the Heelie shoes won!), braces (permanent cast AND braces in one week - what else could you ask for as an 11 year old?), 14th anniversary (has it really been this long?), 7th birthday (can't believe that my BABY is actually 7 - wahhhh), and many many many multiple laughs from Mr. Zachary (who was wondering if we actually drink cow's urine when we drink milk - when explained that it's actually from mammary glands that all mammals, including humans, have, he then asked where the milk comes from me. When I told him - he got grossed out. Even MORE grossed out when he was informed that all 3 of them nursed - he didn't EVEN WANT TO GO THERE, he said!!! ha!).

So that's the cliff notes version. For the full version, you'll just have to fill in the blanks as I did. We always wing it and fill in the blanks around here.

Ha!

Until next time (hopefully not so long between posts, 'cause I start to feel guilty and then don't post because I feel guilty, and then I feel even more guilty for not posting and well, ya know - the cycle continues - hoping to break the guilt factor that I put myself on soon!)

Let's celebrate the spirit of this wonderful season and hopefully it will penetrate our hearts throughout the upcoming year!

*God calls us to share from our abundance with those in need - and blesses us when we do.*
